What's happening at 360desktop?
What’s new? It’s more a case of “What isn’t”.
It's been a crazy nine months here at 360desktop HQ and our dev team have been doing some amazing things that we can’t wait to show off.
We're proud to announce a completely new interactive 360 authoring framework and AJAX-driven Gallery system, the release of our new 360app platform, together with a new viewer and an improved 360 Manager.
We’ve also added heaps more users - with more than 2 million downloads and thousands of amazing new 360’s. We even have a few new team members, including me.
So, in more detail ...
Interactive Authoring – It’s now easy for anyone to create web enabled 360’s - interactive wallpaper with embedded videos, web pages & webclips (for just part of the page), widgets, games – any web content you want. Click here to get started.
360apps – With our new 360app framework, Web apps can now be delivered to the desktop as if they were native desktop apps. Download the new 360desktop, click on the 360apps tab and check out our sample apps – “Hip hop Girl”, “360 Games", with more than 7,000 games on your desktop, Twitter as a desktop app and more. Click here for free upgrade.
360 Manager – The new 360 Manager makes it easier to work with all the 360’s, widgets and apps you’ve got. Simply drag to re-size your manager, then sort and group your 360’s by category, or search for your favorites.
360 Gallery – Come and check out all the amazing new content that our talented 360 community creates every day – More than 10,000 stunning 360’s, plus a growing number of interactive ones as well - useful, inspiring, entertaining or simply fun. Head to the Gallery.

Real Madrid Interactive - Spanish fan 'Rafa360' has created an interactive Real Madrid 360 that includes some interactive elements to help you keep up to date with the team's season, including a schedule, Twitter Search Widget and an RSS Reader of the team blog. Oh, there's also a collection of their greatest goals!

- 'I'mma let you finish, but...' He's got the biggest mouth in hip-hop, so '360designteam' has created a 360 that allows you to keep up to date with his latest antics. The 360 includes an RSS reader, Twitter Search Widget and a collection of his videos.
